Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain security engineering related artefacts.
  • Support the engineering and configuration management activities of the Platform Systems team, including the development and review of procedural documentation.
  • Assist and provide guidance to the Integration Engineering Manager on engineering and configuration management.

Essential Experience and / or Qualifications:

  • A qualified practitioner with higher degree qualifications or relevant industry experience of more than 8 years.


Highly Desirable Experience and / or Qualifications:

  • Previous Defence experience is highly desirable.
  • Practical knowledge of security management.
  • Extensive industry and specialty experience in electrical engineering and systems integration including integration on maritime platforms.
  • Experience with RF environments and wireless communications in contested communications or electronic warfare domains.
  • Experience in digital communications protocols and signal conversion techniques.
  • Experience driving processes and process improvements, including continuous improvement methodologies.


The Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the below criteria:

  • Tertiary Engineering qualifications in a relevant computer science, networking, engineering, or a related field.
  • System Architecture/Integration services, specifications, plans, procedures and reports

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and achieve complex material logistics work within an integrated workforce.
  • Work independently with the opportunity for reasonable autonomy for the achievement of work outcomes, ensuring compliance within legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defences mission and policy requirements.

  • Maintenance documentation as directed.
  • Undertake an active role in process improvement activities.
  • Develop, maintain and implement Logistic Support plans and procedures for the service.
  • Responsible for the codification and cataloguing of fleet products and formulating related Complete Equipment Schedules.
  • Responsible to manage and report on compliance and assurance activities.
  • Participate in Technical Management meetings and/or technical activities, tasks or functions and present reports on status of work against approved plans, agreements and instructions.
  • Review annually the Standard Operating Procedures for supported equipment.
  • Prepare Fleet Integrated Logistics Support Technical Management briefs and impact statements.
  • Manage Supply Customer Accounts if required.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • The training requirements, or equivalent, of this position are considered fundamental to the Integrate Logistics Manager position(s).
  • Materiel Logistics Practitioners Course (MLPC).
  • Certificate IV Logistics Management.
  • Minimum 6 (six) years' experience.
  • Diploma of Material Logistics.

  • Communications, event marketing and social media - Including the development and production of suitable promotional and staging materials such as flyers; brochures; handouts; posters; banners; pull-ups; media wall; social media props. Response is to include development and production costs internal to the provider.
  • Evaluation and wrap-up - The production of post-event activities and artefacts, including post-event communications, and a meaningful event evaluation report including analysis of logistics, content, engagement and participant outcomes, and lessons learned and suggestions for improvement of future symposiums.
  • Ability to lead and support stakeholder consultation and engagement.
  • The capability and capacity to work autonomously within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for administering the Contract on behalf of
    the Commonwealth.
