Key Responsibilities:

• Perform critical and complex engineering activities and providing advice in the field of software systems engineering for the project.

Experience Skills Sought:

• Intended for a Systems Engineer with a Software background or a Software Engineer with a good foundation in Systems Engineering.

Essential Experience and / or Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics/computers/communications/networking or similar) or an equivalent qualification that satisfies the requirements of the Washington Accord for recognition as a professional engineer.
• More than 8 year's engineering experience and more than 5 years' experience in the field of systems/software engineering.
• Comprehensive understanding in engineering of complex Defence systems.
• Understanding of Defence processes and structure.
• Very strong written and oral communication skills.

Highly Desirable Experience and / or Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualifications or demonstrated equivalent experience in software engineering.
• Experience in pre-Acquisition project activities including design, development and tender evaluations.
• Experience with systems safety and cyber security.

• SFIA Skill Code - Systems and software lifecycle engineering (SLEN) - L4
